Conway Real Estate

Conway is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town was originally name Kingston and got its current name in 1801. Conway is a small river town approximately 12 miles West of Myrtle Beach. This small town does hold our County Seat and over the past several years, this small town has revamped its position as a desired place to live. Conway has an abundance of New Home Communities and the city itself has refaced the River Walk area of the town. There are several nice restaurants, bakeries, art galleries and clothing stores downtown.

Conway has been preserved as an historic town with large oak trees and historic sites. This small town has actually been named the “Tree City” based on its planting and protection of trees. The most scenic thing about Conway has to be the Main Street Bridge that leads toward Myrtle Beach. With the price increases that have gone on along the coast many find themselves buying a home for less money 12 miles away in Conway.
