Little River is the town nearest the North Carolina border at the very northern section of the Grand Strand. Little River is a quaint fishing village just above North Myrtle Beach and right below Brunswick County, and Little River is also the oldest village in Horry County. This town is known for its relaxing atmosphere under the oak trees and the offshore fishing that is available. This town is a treat for all of its residence and tourists alike. One of the sights of the day is to watch fishing and shrimp boats going out in the early morning for that day's catch, with the sun coming up and the mist rising from the calm Inlet Waters.

Little River is also know for is annual “Blue Crab Festival” with the purpose of maintaining its rural atmosphere. This festival is still alive today after over 25 years and the Little River locals continue to keep their small town fishing village alive.

While you are in Little River you can find most of your excitement on the two Las Vegas style casino boats that leave port a few times daily to International Waters on pursuit of the ultimate East Coast Gaming Experience.

Little River is not far from everything that Myrtle Beach has to offer. There are several golf courses nearby, lot of shopping in North Myrtle Beach and many Area attractions up and down the Grand Strand.
